How can we face a world filled with traitors, deserters, uncertainties and injustices? In Mark 14:43-52, the author aims to communicate to us that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God—that he is equal to divine deity, that he is very God in his essence, through the characteristic of unbroken, instealthable, enduring knowing. We can face a world filled with traitors, deserters, uncertainties and injustices by following Jesus, the deserted but all-knowing, betrayed but undeceivable, Son of God.
